- Courtenay Nightglade — the runaway who answers to “Trouble,” son of a noble house he left behind (b. 1184 ATG).
- Ninette — the cloaked rogue with no known past, suspected Veilari, watching over the party (b. 1175 ATG).
- Ulrin — the last scout of blighted Kerran, the Dead Hills tracker who finds the party before they find the village (b. ~1187–88 ATG).
The Torgaro Dynasty
The family that survived the Cataclysm in the dark of Torgaro Mine #12 and founded the Kingdom of Orsholon.
- King Rens Torgaro — the first King of Orsholon, who held three hundred survivors together through the 30-Year Winter (3410–3328 BTG).
- Queen Ari Senra — the first Queen of Orsholon, a child of the dark, and the mother of the Boy King (3393–3292 BTG).
- Sévérine Bélanger — the Logistics Boss of Torgaro Mine #12, keeper of the secret tunnel, and Rens’s first wife (3450–3392 BTG).
