History
The Chibers are descended from survivors of the Cataclysm. Prior to the Cataclysm, the region now known as Chiber was the most prolific agricultural region on Arnathia, with nearly 60% of the world's agricultural products grown in the region. While the region was spared much of the wind damage from the Cataclysm, the following 30-year winter destroyed the fertile fields and stripped many of the regions trees bare.
The trees that survived were primarily evergreens, especially of the pine variety.

Large forests. Highly fertile ground between mountain ranges. Some mineral deposits. Both freshawater and saltwater access.
Culture
Very protective and nurturing of nature. People of the earth. Trees are sacred. More gatherers than hunters.
