Purpose
A meeting place and drinking hall for the denizens of Tremer . A favorite of Hargus Hurryhouse, and of travelers on the Orsholon/Lawcrane Road.
History
The Dragon and Flagon has been around since before anyone can remember, and probably before that. Since Tremer is along the road from Orsholon City to the port city of Lawcrane , it is a popular stop for a bite to eat and a pint. The current owner, Royston Ranald bought the Tavern from the previous owner in 1193 ATF. He had taken out a loan from some shadier characters from Lawcrane and fell behind on payments. They threatened him with bodily harm.
Hargus Hurryhouse was passing through Tremer and stopped in at the Tavern. He had struck a conversation with the owner and found out about the trouble. He asked who the troublemakers were and a few other questions, and then told the owner he wouldn’t have to worry again. And the troublemakers never returned.
Royston holds Hargus in high regard and will not tolerate those who bother him. As a form of thanks, the owner and the owner of the Aerie Inn have given Hargus room and board whenever he wants in their best accomodations.
Architecture
Thick thatched roofing on a building of stone construction. It features a kitchen, office/owner's room, storeroom, a main room and a back room that can be configured as needed. The main room has the Tavern's bar at one end, and a sitting area on the other.
