Description
Purpose
This is the main marketplace for Tremer, giving travelers a place to stick up on goods, get repairs made to clothing and metal items, and buy some baked items.
It is made up of a number of stalls during the day. At night, the stalls remain, but there are no merchants after nightfall, and they take their wares back to their homes and stores.
Alterations
History
The Open Market was established in its location more than 100 years ago as a place for the locals to trade goods from their farms and businesses. As traffic along the Orsholon/Lawcrane Road increased, they began to sell more of their products to the passers-through. The market is a fixture and is known for some of the best available products in the region.
Architecture
Simple canvas and pole stalls, set in a basically circular configuration. They are fairly well kept, but are subject to damage from weather and the occasional dragon (?!?!!).
Some merchants come and go, but you will always find a butcher, baker, farmer selling produce, tailor, and a blacksmith.
